DIY Pita Chips
Ingredients
1/8 cup Olive Oil: $.25
Sprinkle of Black Pepper and Salt: $.05
1 Whole Pita Shell: $.20
Total Cost: $.50 for approx 16 triangular chips, more if cut differently
Start with your whole Pita Shell
Cover both sides with Olive Oil
Cut into triangles
(make sure side that was not
covered previously with olive oil is now)
Place on tray, sprinkle with salt and pepper and then cook at 450 for 7 to 8 min until brown
(mind you mine got left in for about 10 (opps!))
